On 'a loan deal' from the 8pm crowd: 'John the Scotsman'.

 

So we had 10 but not all arrived at 7pm so the 'teachers' said they would play us until 7.30pm, then we had 10, then 5 mins later we were down to 9, struggling again!

 

5 against 4 ,hard work all round.

 

Various teams all night.

 

The man of the match, by far, was Scott: fantastic skill, running, ball control and some good goals, well played.

It was a mild evening considering the weather we have had in recent weeks.Our warm up was so devastating that nobody wanted to play with us.

 

So it was 2 against 2 'two touch' football with one goal-keeper. A tough work-out.

 

Phil & John beat Graham & Terry 3-2. John used his 'win wish' to have a rest in goal.

 

Then the two oldest on the pitch; 'Graham & Amar' beat Phil & Terry 3-2.

 

We will need a bigger turn-out next week otherwise oxygen will be required.
