the others again

 

for a change we scored first with a good goal from alex h.1-0

 

the replied 1-1

 

we were playing better and had lots of chances but tiredness set in

 

3-3 at full-time

 

played longer for next goal##they got it 4-3 :to the others

 

man of the match: john, great in goal once again

the line-up: john, amar, graham, andy, alex h, rob s, phil, toma , harvey, david, alex y.

 

the others again, toma,harvey and david went over.

 

now, normally they score first but we scored first second and third 3-0.

 

you know it they then scored BUT not how you think, amar scored an own goal. (it was a fantastic header though) 3-1

 

we then scored again 4-1

 

and again 5-1.

 

alex young scored a load- we miss his goal scoring ability

 

man of the match: john played well in goal again but I have to give it to alex y, great play up top well done alex y.

17th May 2010 (Rob)

the line up:

 

mark, graham, amar, paul, justin, richard, rob s, rob w, terry, harvey, phil.

 

the others again harvey went over and the others gave us dave.

 

full pitch.

 

you know it they scored first 1-0

 

we equalised with a great goal from dave 1-1

 

they scored again 2-1

 

AND THEN

the  wonder goal from rob songhust 2-2

 

they scored straight after-we have to stop that , we always seem to concede after we score! 3-2

 

a scrambled effort and we equlised 3-3

 

but then we let it go the ran out 5-3 winners.

 

as a team we were not so good tonight and I know why.

 

we missed our captain alex hamilton-all is forgiven come back- you can shout at us as much as you like.

Alex hamilton runs the game for us and we need him to keep us right.

 

now your asking how did alex hamilton get he man of the match award without even playing- only joking.

 

man of the match: rob songhursts goal was a shining beacon of hope in an otherwise poor performance. well done rob.

10th May 2010 (Graham)

The line-up:

 

Justin, Graham, Paul(new guy), Andy, Rob S, Amar, Alex H, Terry, Alex Y, Toma, Richard, Harvey, David, Mark.(WHAT A GREAT TURN-OUT!)

 

The others again.

 

Full size pitch, Harvey and David went over.

 

We play very well. Some good link up play going forward and had many chances to score.

 

Also Graham was great in defence. At the end, the other's best player (also called graham) conceded that our Graham had him in his back pocket!

 

As usual they scored first and despite having many chances it took us a while to reply but Toma put it away nicely.1-1

 

We gifted them their second goal with some sloppy play. 2-1.

 

Again we had a few chances to equalise but it would not go in.

 

We had them under a fair bit of pressure and in the las 30 seconds  they conceded a corner and Alex Y headed it in  2-2. Final result.

 

It is certainly looking better for us as a team for the nexc 11-a-side.

 

Justin managed to get Rob S in the face with a throw-out from goal so blood was drawn but let's not look back in anger, I heard you say, at least not today.

 

I reckon if Captain Alex H can organise us for the next 11-a-side we have a good chance.

 

Man Of The Match: It has to go to Graham Foster for keeping 'the others graham' in his back pocket. No easy feat and I think it demonstates what a great defender we have playing for us. Well done Graham.

3rd May 2010 (Graham)

the others again. mark went over

 

as usual they scored fisrt but we equalised with a great strike from graham. 1-1

 

they scored again 2-1

 

but again we equalised with a well taken goal from amar 2-2

 

but as usual we went into self destruct mode and they scored twice 4-2

 

but they could not score again and we had chances.

 

Man of the match: no doubt graham foster well played all around the park- well done.
