great turn-out, pouring rain

 

the other again, alex h went over

 

 full pitch smaller goals

 

we struggled, no organization,

 

they scored first as usual

 

we got a scrappy goal back

 

they won 4-1

 

lots of us will be on holiday over the coming weeks so turn-out may vary

 

so please try and play if you are not away

 

also Ed is out of pocket for the pitch payment so please pay him your £40 if you have not done so already

long time before anyone scored

 

but you guessed it 'the others' scored first  and second 2-0

 

we came back with a goal 2-1

 

then they scored again 3-1 final score

 

i thought we played well 

 

but a few mistakes but we should not single out anyone

 

nobody at fault becuase it is a team game and ultimately the vice-captain phil wall must take full responsiblity for letting the others score 3-you must improve phil.

 

man of the match-my brother -in-law phil adam(otherwise heather will kill me) but he did play very well up and down.

 

on a brighter note there was a unanimous(spelling?) vote to award amar the champagne- because he has been the best player consistently over the past 9 months- thanks guys and thanks for your vote phil wall!

you know who yes 'the others' again, are we locked together forever, will be we ever be free again, can someone smuggle out a note for some help, therr must be a vigilante group out there!

 

closer game they won 5-4

 

man of the match: toma good engine up and down

David, amar, graham, toma rob s, alex h, scott, richard, ian

 

the others  again

 

they scored first 1-0

 

but with scott up front we hit back with 2 goals 2-1-we were leading ,what?

 

we lost our way but some highlights

 

alex h scored a great curler and david made some good saves

 

amar had to handle the ball in our area so it did not puncture off his steeled chest!

 

they ran out 8-3 winners

 

man of the match- great goal by alex h BUT david played very well in goal so he gets man of the match tonight- well played david

 

we all need to think if we can committ over the summer as we need another £500 to keep it going- remember if we stop we MAY never get the pitch back again!!
